Cabriolet & Convertible car care

Soft-top cars need special care - high pressure washing can damage fabric roofs on even modern convertible cars, so gentle application of specialist cleaning products remove green mould, algae, dust and bird bombs without damaging the mohair or canvas fabric.

Add in the Renovo recolouring system to restore colour and the car hood can look like new with a couple of hours effort. Most convertible hoods can be cleaned, recoloured and waterproofed with 500ml of each product. 

Plastic rear screens need specialist products such as Hindsight to remove clouding and milkiness, and restore suppleness to prevent your rear screen cracking or splitting.

Top Convertible car care tips:

Vigorously pat the hood before starting the process to loosen dirt and dust, vacuum it up using the flat curtain/sofa attachment - not the hard plastic tool which can mark the convertible fabric.

Lay a thin decorators polythene sheet under your hood by raising then lowering it slightly, to protect from dye and UltraProofer splashes which are hard to remove.

Tape around the rear screen with 3M Blue Tape, folding under the fabric, to ensure colour to the edge of the fabric.
