Save £25 on in-garage dehumidification

Many customers are unaware that the garage-optimised dehumidifiers we sell have advantages over DIY store offerings – they are desiccant based machines, not Compressor machines, which tend to ice up due to their moisture extraction process.

Simply, desiccant machines use a rotating desiccant crystal disc which picks up moisture from the air which is driven off by heat, generating a useful 13 degree rise in the air passing through the system. Compressor/refrigerant dehumidifiers ice up as the air is passed over a chilled plate. Under 4 degrees they are virtually useless.

So we recommend the Meaco DD8L Junior, at £164.99 over its externally identical ‘non-Junior’ stablemate at £189.99 as that has 2 features only of interest to in-home use – Silver Nano Particle Filter, and Deioniser. Both are not required in the garage and the cost saving is useful.

Our experience gives you the right product and saves you money!
