Still thinking about buying a Race Glaze water filter ?
(they remove the minerals that cause water spots, saving you time drying your car)
A couple of very recent reviews which may enable you to cross that line and enjoy one while the summer is still here…
Extremely fast delivery and couldn't wait to use it for the first time. I have a black car and it was becoming a pain to dry the car all round before the water marks started to appear. I use a blow dryer, so takes me a bit longer, I'm a bit of an amateur detailer. The Race Glaze filter blew me away, no water marks whatsoever, and I just took my time. Highly recommended, should have bought sooner.
I am always a little skeptical about trying new items like this. I live in quite a hard water area and have to filter our water for kettles and coffee machine or the limescale kills them off quite quickly. I have to dry my cars after every wash and still get water marks around the dribbles from wing mirrors etc.
I am so impressed with this water filter and purchased a PPM tester to see if it worked. I am genuinely amazed how good it works. …. In the summer it means any dribbles do not leave water marks. I wish I had purchased this years ago.
This has been missing from my detailing set-up for quite some time. What an absolute game changer , I can now wash and rinse the car down and not have to worry about any water spot marks , due to living down south and the water quality is not that great. Would highly recommend purchasing the water filter, I had also purchased a couple of add ons to make sure that I could test the hardness of the water and also the flow rate. A massive thumbs -up
Race Glaze make some bold claims for their 0ppm Water Filter, and I must confess to being a little sceptical about whether it would live up to their claims. Let's face it, we see ads all the time claiming that "product X" will solve all your problems, only to discover that we have sadly fallen for another scam! However, I was so fed up with battling water spots on my car that I considered any improvement would be worthwhile and I placed my order.
I am so glad that I did! My car now looks as it should after a thorough clean, and if I miss the odd patch when I'm drying, or I get a few drips from the door mirrors etc, they dry naturally without leaving a trace. I think I'm about due to purchase a resin refill, but it's almost a year on and I haven't seen a single water spot yet, so bravo to Race Glaze. A product that really does do "what it says on the tin!"
